Hillcrest Commons
Hillcrest Commons is a developing community initiative based in the heart of Little Rock’s Hillcrest neighborhood. Our aim is to foster connection, creativity, and community through shared space, inclusive programming, and collaborative possibilities.
Located in the historic building gifted by the congregation of Pulaski Heights Baptist Church, Hillcrest Commons exists thanks to their visionary act of generosity. The congregation—still active and worshiping on-site—entrusted this beloved neighborhood landmark to ensure its architectural legacy and community spirit live on.
As we move toward formal nonprofit status, Hillcrest Commons is already bringing people together for events, education, creative work, and civic engagement. We believe in the power of place—and in the potential of neighbors coming together to build something lasting.
Hillcrest Commons featured on KATV Channel 7
Pete DeBuys and Dianne McNary were interviewed by Autumn Foltz of KATV Channel 7 back in October of 2025 about the transformation of the historic Pulaski Heights Baptist Church campus into Hillcrest Commons — a new community hub for creativity, connection, and neighborhood life.
We’re building something special right here in the heart of Hillcrest — a place where community, creativity, and connection come together every day.
